Purchased two Samsung Digital Locks from Bunnings. 1 x SHP-A30 for the internal garage door and 1 x SHP-DP609 for the front door. Have registered both with DDL for warranty purposes. Would highly recommend DDL for any technical or installation help or have DDL professionally install. As a trades person I installed these digital locks myself with little effort. Love how the locks work and the added piece of mind of remote locking, pin code, fingerprint or fob access for the whole family.

I love this Samsung smart lock. It is high quality . It's also save some cost from having free installation promotion which is really a bonus. DDL arranged locksmith for installation. So, its saved time and stress free to find locksmith to install it. The locksmith Daniel is very nice, professional and patient to show me how to use the smart lock.
The lock has auto lock function that gives me peace of mind on forgetting to lock the door. The Wi-Fi connection to the lock gives some useful and handful functions on my phone.

Amazing lock, so smart and easy to set up. Totally worth its price. One small flaw: the fingerprint sensor is too small and so unless you press your finger carefully and exactly inside the square, the door won't open. Other than that, it is perfect!

Got the install package together with the lock, and Marcel did a good job, but due to a mixup, the 708 was installed. He came back to replace it with the 609 as ordered, and after using both, I’m glad I ordered the 609, which is simpler to use, more responsive and has more features we use.
The Samsung setup isn’t that intuitive but got there. The app could also offer more granularity in what it notifies, as the novelty of being notified of every opening and closing wears off quickly.

Purchased the SHP-DP609 for my AirBnB property. The lock looks very high end and adds value to the property. After overcoming some initial technical connectivity issues the app works great and the log and ability to add and remove temporary pins is very helpful. Also worth getting a professional to install as the door needs to be cut precisely with specialised tools.

Looks amazing but fingerprint reader is basically useless
The lock looks amazing and everyone comments on it, but for a Samsung product im a little dissapointed. As others have mentioned, the Fingerprint reader is extremely bad. The registration process works fine for me and others in my household but when you go to unlock the door, no matter how careful you are with your finger placement 95% of the time it simply fails to read.
I use fingerprint scanners tens of times a day at work that function perfectly so it can't be an issue with my fingerprint and again it does it to everyone in our household. Apart from that its great. Giving 3 stars because of the bad fingerprint reader though because entering the code is slow and probably quicker to use a physical key in my opinion. No one is going to stand at their front door and whip out their phone to unlock either. So its basically a very expensive (yet pretty) code pad.

Great lock with wifi function
I’ve been using this lock for a week now, love the wifi function with app control. It got lots of pros like using the app to open/close doors, no need to carry any keys, gets notifications if the door gets open/locked and if the door is being opened for 30s/1min etc, also able to use the app to set up/delete temporary password or fingerprints, these features are amazing!!!!!!
Only cons is sometimes the fingerprint does not work that well, so I have to use other ways to open the door. Hope this feature can be improved in the future.

Great lock. The app is a little clunky because I have an iPhone but generally it has worked OK. I have a current glitch in that since daylight savings time DST ended I can no longer receive access logs. This is a feature I really liked and see as essential.

Makes my life easier
I had the SHP-DP609 installed in January to make my life easier due to having limited ability to walk. Apart from one minor hiccup, which was quickly resolved, the door lock works fabulously! I have received heaps of positive comments from visitors and delivery people such as "well that's fancy" or "love your flash door lock". My family love it too, as they can let themselves in without me getting up. Best money spent ever, thanks Samsung!!

jimmy came to install this lock after discussing what we wanted from a new smart entry system. We have had it 2 weeks now and I can’t tell you how much we love it. Everyone has a fingerprint, code and even a swipe for us old school people. Jimmy patiently coded us all into the system and explained how to use the system for one off entry and wifi options
We don’t have anymore use for our key safe and keys being left in the house. Should have put one in years ago. Jimmy came within 24 hours and he showed me several options to match our front door . Thank you Jimmy, it was such a smooth and easy transaction.
